Below are just some of the functions which we undertake here at Balance-IT (UK)

Book-keeping:
  • Sales invoice/credit note production, and subsequent entry on to the Sales Ledger.
  • Sales receipts entered onto the Sales ledger and into the bank.
  • Purchase invoice/credits entered onto the Purchase Ledger.
  • Purchase payments onto the ledger and out of the bank.
  • All other bank payments and receipts onto the Nominal ledger via the bank.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Petty Cash payments and receipts entered.


  • Payroll:
  • Production of weekly, 4 weekly or monthly payroll and PAYE and other payroll journals entered onto ledgers.
  • All PAYE year end returns completed and filed with Inland Revenue either manually or on-line.


  • VAT Returns:
    The "nasty green" document from HM Customs and Excise that must be filled in accurately on a monthly/quarterly basis and returned to them either manually or on-line with or for payment.


    Management Accounts:
    Profit & Loss reports and Balance sheet produced monthly and/or quarterly and/or annually to aid in the business development process.

    Tax Returns:
    The "nasty blue" self-assessment document from Inland Revenue which sits on your desk staring at you saying "Fill me in and return me" all done for you and filed either manually or on-line.
